DEATH NOTICE Print
It is with deepest sorrow that I lost the love of my life of 56 years. After a hard battle with cancer, on March 25, 2021 Don passed at home where his spirit will live forever. Beloved husband of Alda, father of Donald (Darrell), Daniel, David and Michelle (Dave), grandfather of Zack, Paul and Michael and great grandfather of Zoey and Riley. Pre-deceased by his parents Rita and Donald. Don had 13 brothers and sisters and will be missed by many nieces/nephews who referred to him as uncle Don/Bay. Many thanks to Carolyn Smith, Brenda Buttineau, Ovila and Edith Buttineau for their extra care in the past several months. Special thanks to his nurses, staff of Bayshore, Dr. Karson and Dr. Li. A celebration of life will be at a future date. If desired donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Diabetes Association.
